Tenth of the tithe or 1% of tithe and offerings
If you calculate the tithe to be $100 then you calculate the contribution to 2 Timothy 4:5 to be $10 and the contribution to the Church/Ministry  would be $90.
(Num 18:26 Speak thus to the Levites, and say to them: 'When you take from the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them as your inheritance, then you shall offer up a heave offering of it to the Lord, a tenth of the tithe. Neh 10:38 And the priest, the descendant of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites receive tithes; and the Levites shall bring up a tenth of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms of the storehouse.

Sponsorship:
2 Timothy 4:5 believes in the Biblical principle of tithing and that it transcends culture, economics and geography. When the principle of seed time and harvest are implemented the Bible declares that God will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you can't contain and He will rebuke the devourer for your sake (Malachi 3:10-11).  In rare cases, ministries who do to economics would better aid in the advancement of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, may be allowed to use their financial commitment locally.  We understand that some smaller congregations are not in a position to support 2 Timothy 4:5 with its mission outreaches. It's our prayer that God will richly bless those whom have dedicated their lives in the tireless sacrifice pastoring congregations of small size. any deviation from the financial commitment must be approved by the Overseers.
